Professional Background
I believe therapy works best when it happens within a genuine, trusting relationship — a space where you feel truly heard, seen, and cared for. That belief guides me toward curiosity, warmth, and respect for the fact that you (or your child) are the expert on your own life. I value each client and tailor treatment to each person’s individual needs and experiences. I have a particular interest in trauma work and am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy.
My background also includes experience across different levels of care, working with clients facing a wide range of diagnoses and acuity — which means I feel comfortable meeting people wherever they are, whether they're navigating something acute or working through longer-standing patterns. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Creative Writing from Clark University and graduated with Master's in Social Work with a certificate in Trauma Practice from Simmons University
Outside of the therapy room, you might find me on a rock climbing, working through a good puzzle, curled up with a book, or spending time with my dog. I think these parts of my life keep me grounded and remind me why balance and joy matter — something I hope to help you find more of, too.
