Professional Background
I know reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re used to carrying everything on your own. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting challenges, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide a space to slow down, gain perspective, and move forward with intention.
I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Connecticut and hold a certification in Child and Youth Behavioral Health. My background includes child welfare, trauma-informed care, behavioral health, and working with children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds.
I am particularly passionate about supporting children and teens, helping caregivers strengthen family relationships, and empowering individuals to better understand themselves and their emotional experiences. I believe therapy should feel like a partnership, and I strive to create an environment where clients feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood.
As a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., I am devoted to service, leadership, sisterhood, and cultural awareness. These values continue to shape my work and my commitment to supporting individuals and families within our communities.
My goal is simple: to help clients recognize their strengths, overcome obstacles, and build the confidence needed to create lasting change.
