Leanne Guilmette, LCSW
Clinical Therapist
I believe meaningful change begins when we feel truly seen, understood, and supported. My approach is warm, collaborative, and adaptable, meeting each client where they are and honoring their unique pace.
I strive to create a space where clients can explore their stories, recognize their strengths, and develop skills to move toward the life they want with confidence.
My path into social work has allowed me to work with people across the lifespan and in a variety of settings. I have supported students with intellectual, physical, and developmental disabilities as a school social worker; assisted families through the Department of Children and Families; guided young adults in transitional housing at Project Kompass; and coordinated care for older adults through Mystic Valley Elder Services. These diverse experiences have strengthened my belief that every stage of life brings unique challenges, opportunities, and moments for growth.
I earned my Master of Social Work with a certification in Clinical Social Work from the University of Kentucky and my Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire. My therapeutic style is strength-based, trauma-informed, and solution-focused, often incorporating mindfulness and skill-building to help clients manage stress, improve coping, and foster resilience. I work with individuals of all ages navigating anxiety, depression and life transitions, and my goal is to ensure every client feels supported, empowered, and equipped to thrive.
