Carrie LeBlanc, MPA
Clinical Therapist
I am an experienced clinical professional with a strong background in behavioral health, substance use treatment, criminal justice–involved populations, and evidence-based practice. With over ten years of direct clinical experience and more than a decade of leadership across human services, I bring a unique blend of therapeutic skill, crisis intervention expertise, and trauma-informed care to the clients I serve.
I currently work as a Clinical and Case Manager at the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Community Justice Support Center, where I lead and supervise a multidisciplinary clinical team. My clinical background includes facilitating CBT and motivational enhancement groups as well as providing case management services for individuals with substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, trauma histories, and high-risk psychosocial needs. I have extensive experience across inpatient, outpatient, and community-based settings. In addition to my clinical work, I am an Adjunct Professor at Assumption University’s School of Graduate Studies, where I teach addiction-focused courses. My teaching emphasizes practical skill development, cultural competence, and innovative instructional approaches that prepare students for the complexities of behavioral health work.
I hold a Master of Public Administration in Criminal Justice from Anna Maria College and a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies, English, and Writing from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. I am trained in Trauma-Informed Care, treatment of co-occurring disorders, Motivational Interviewing, cultural competency, crisis intervention, and overdose prevention, and I am also a certified Recovery Coach.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three sons. I love hiking in the woods with my golden retrievers, Ellie and Oliver, competing in fitness competitions, spending time by the ocean, and enjoying summers on Cape Cod.
Passionate, empathetic, and client-centered, I am dedicated to helping individuals build insight, develop healthier coping strategies, and create sustainable positive change in their lives.
